At AestheticA Skin Health Center, we offer Juvéderm injectable filler treatments at both our Appleton, WI and Middleton, WI locations.
From Allergan Inc., the manufacturer of Botox, each dermal filler within the collection is unique to treat different areas of the face to create a youthful appearance. Juvederm products are composed of hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a natural component in our bodies.
WHAT IS JUVÉDERM?
In June 2006, Juvéderm received its first FDA approval for the treatment of moderate to severe wrinkles around the nose and mouth with results lasting up to one year.
AestheticA Skin Health Center was chosen as one of a select group of physician offices to premiere Juvederm prior to its January 2007 availability. The collection of products now includes 5 dermal fillers: UltraXC, UltraPlusXC, VolbellaXC, VolumaXC and VollureXC.
These smooth gel, non-animal-based hyaluronic acid (HA) products offer a natural look and feel to the face following treatment. Since hyaluronic acid is already present in the human body, providing moisture and fullness to the skin, an allergy test is not required prior to receiving treatment.
IS JUVÉDERM RIGHT FOR ME?
Juvederm dermal fillers are FDA approved for people of all different skin types and tones. Men and women who are looking for an anti-aging treatment with a natural result may be good candidates for treatment. If you have concerns with jowling, smile or frown lines, desire to add volume to your cheeks or enhance the shape of your lips, treatment with one or more of the dermal fillers within the collection may be right for you.

YOUR JUVÉDERM TREATMENT
Your Juvederm injections can be completed in approximately 30 minutes, but in-office time may take 45-60 minutes. This may vary depending on the amount of correction you are seeking. Some clients experience a small amount of swelling for the first day and bruising. There is no downtime with this treatment.
Results can be seen immediately following treatment and may last approximately 6-24 months depending on the product used. All dermal fillers within the collection contain a modified hyaluronic acid (HA), derived from a naturally occurring complex sugar, as well as lidocaine to reduce any pain during the procedure.
Although most clients find the injections to be relatively painless, a topical anesthetic may also be applied to the area prior to receiving your treatment. Please allow an additional 15 minutes when requesting a topical anesthetic.

If you are a new client of AestheticA Skin Health Center and are interested in a specific treatment, time may be allotted for the consultation and treatment to be completed in one appointment. If you are a previous client of AestheticA, but have not been seen by our clinic within a year, a brief follow-up will be included in your appointment to discuss your previous treatment(s) or any new skin concerns you may have.
