WHAT IS KYBELLA?
At both of our Wisconsin locations, we offer Kybella®, the non-surgical, injectable treatment to reduce fullness of the submental region (area under the chin) of the face. From Allergan Inc., the manufacturer of Botox, and Juvéderm family of products, Kybella is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells under the chin to improve your profile.

IS KYBELLA RIGHT FOR ME?
Kybella may be a treatment option for you if:
- You’re bothered (unhappy, self-conscious, embarrassed) by fat under the chin, also known as submental fullness.
- You feel the condition makes you look older or heavier than you actually are
- You don’t want to have surgery
- You eat well and exercise, but submental fullness does not go away

YOUR KYBELLA TREATMENT
Your Kybella treatment will take around 30-45 minutes and in office time may take 60 minutes. At each treatment, you will receive multiple small injections under your chin. The exact number of injections will depend on the amount of fat you have under your chin and pre determined by Dr. Parfitt. The number of treatments will vary patient to patient depending on the amount of correction.

YOUR CONSULTATION
Your skin requires a tailored program of care to optimize its health and appearance. At your consultation, Dr. Parfitt will gather information from you and examine your skin to help you prioritize your concerns. He will help you achieve your best skin by preparing a treatment plan that ensures any skin treatments you choose are provided in a manner that is as effective and as safe as possible. Consultations can take place at either of our locations in Appleton or Middleton, Wisconsin.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON KYBELLA:
How long is the Kybella treatment?
Your Kybella treatment will take around 30-45 minutes and in office time may take 60 minutes. A topical anesthetic may be applied to the area prior to receiving your treatment, which may add to your time in clinic.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
The number of treatments will vary patient to patient depending on the amount of correction. This will be determined at your consultation. You may receive up to 6 treatment sessions, spaced at least 1 month apart. Many patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 Kybella treatments.
HOW LONG WILL RESULTS LAST?
When injected into fat under the chin, Kybella causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat. After reaching your desired aesthetic, further treatment is not expected.
ARE THERE OTHER OPTIONS TO CORRECT SUBMENTAL FULLNESS?

Is there a cost for a consultation?
To see Dr. Parfitt, the cost for your skin consultation is $125. This consultation fee is applied to your account to use towards products or treatments at either AestheticA Skin Health Center or Parfitt Facial Cosmetic Surgery Center. This one-time cost applies only to your initial consultation; therefore all future follow-up consultative appointments, regardless of the provider seen, are free.
