We offer Radiesse® injectable filler treatments at AestheticA Skin Health Center Middleton. Radiesse dermal filler is a biocompatible, non-allergenic, injectable volumizer that restores youthfulness to the face.
Radiesse is a synthetic dermal filler that reduces wrinkles, creases and scars by augmenting the body’s natural collagen supply. Composed of microspheres of calcium hydroxyl apatite, Radiesse is made from the same minerals found in our bones, so it carries no risk of allergic reaction. Radiesse is a safe, long-lasting, natural solution. Radiesse is FDA-approved for correction of moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.

Men and women who are looking for a non-surgical anti-aging treatment may be good candidates for Radiesse treatments.
– Smile lines or nasal labial folds (line that extends between the base of the nose and the corner of your mouth)
– Marionette lines (lines that run downward from the corners of the mouth)
– Corners of the mouth (oral commissure)
– Pre-jowl fold (area on either side of the chin, where skin can sag due to loss of facial volume)
– Chin wrinkles (horizontal lines that can form on your chin and distract from your smile)
– Severity of pits and scars caused by acne
Radiesse is most effectively used to treat the nasolabial folds (line that extends between the base of the nose and the corner of your mouth), peri-oral lines (around the mouth), depressed scars and oral commissures (downward from the corners of your mouth).
At first, it acts immediately like a dermal filler, adding volume beneath the skin. After about 3 months, it continues to act as a structure when production increases naturally for new collagen.
Treatments typically take 15-30 minutes and require only local anesthetic. Side effects such as swelling or bruising are minimal and should fade within a few days. When injected, the cream-like texture of Radiesse feels soft and natural and results are visible immediately after the injection. It is gradually replaced by the body’s own tissue, and slowly dissolves. The results may last approximately 1 year.
Your skin requires a tailored program of care to optimize its health and appearance. At your consultation, one of our Medical Aesthetics Specialists will gather information from you about your skin concerns, examine your skin and explain what they discover. They will help you prioritize and achieve your best skin by preparing a treatment plan that ensures any skin treatments you choose are provided in a manner that is as effective and as safe as possible. Our Medical Aesthetics Specialists have trained under Double-Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Richard Parfitt. Their extensive knowledge of non-surgical procedures, skin care and skin rejuvenation treatments ensures they are skilled specialists in your chosen treatment. Consultations can take place at our location in Middleton, WI.
If you are a new client of AestheticA Skin Health Center and are interested in a specific treatment, time may be allotted for the consultation and treatment to be completed in one appointment. If you are a previous client of AestheticA, but have not been seen by our clinic within a year, a brief follow-up will be included in your appointment to discuss your previous treatment(s) or any new skin concerns you may have.
No exercise, major manipulation of facial expressions, or makeup during the day of treatment is highly recommended. After 24 hours, you should be able to resume your normal activities.
The average treatment with Radiesse takes about 45 minutes. However, this may vary depending on the amount or type of correction you are seeking. Although most clients find the injections to be relatively painless, a topical anesthetic may be applied to the area prior to receiving your treatment, which may add to your time in clinic.
Side effects are moderate and generally last 2 to 4 weeks. Common side effects include temporary reactions at the treatment site such as tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, pain, redness, discoloration, and itching.

Results may last 12-18 months depending on the area injected and amount of product used.
Products that do not contain lidocaine are available. Allergies will be noted during your initial consultation.
It is recommended that you receive treatment 2-4 weeks before you want/need the results for a specific event on your calendar.
You can reduce risks of bruising and swelling if Tylenol or Ibuprofen is stopped 72 hours prior to treatment. Bruising may vary and can last 3-10 days.
